  • Q: Are you an IMO, FMO or NMO?
  • A: Yes. 😊 We are all of the above. FMO stands for Field Marketing Organization, which is an entity responsible for recruiting and supporting agents for an insurance carrier or carriers. IMO stands for Independent Marketing Organization, which is the same thing as an FMO, but is independent and represents multiple insurance carriers. NMO stands for National Marketing Organization, which is an IMO that conducts business nationally.  So all of the above apply to Western Marketing.

  • Q: What type of insurance products do you offer?
  • A: We offer life insurance, health insurance, long-term care insurance and annuities. We offer all types of life insurance and most types of health insurance including Medicare Supplements, Medicare Advantage Plans, ACA Marketplace Plans (ObamaCare), Group Health Plans, Dental & Vision Insurance, Critical Illness Plans, Disability Income Insurance and much more. We do NOT offer property & casualty insurance such as car insurance or homeowners insurance.

  • Q: Which insurance companies do you represent?
  • A: We work with over 150 different insurance companies, including some of the biggest and most respected names in the industry. CLICK HERE to view a list of some of our carriers.

  • Q: How do your agents get paid?
  • A: Our agents earn a commission when they sell a policy, and they get paid directly from the insurance carrier. Our agents are independent contractors and will receive a 1099 from the insurance carriers they sell for.

  • Q: How does Western Marketing make money?
  • A: When our agents sell a policy, we receive an “override” commission on the sale. We don’t make any money unless you make money, which is why we are committed to your success.

  • Q: Is there a vesting schedule?
  • A: No. Agents and agencies who contract directly to Western Marketing are independent and own their book of business 100% from day one.

  • Q: Do you have free leads to get me started?
  • A: The short answer is no. If you need free leads to get started then we suggest contracting at a lower commission level under one of our downline agencies that provides free leads to their agents. However, if you are new to Western Marketing and you have proof of past production, we may be able to provide marketing dollars to co-op your lead costs, depending on your contract level and production.

  • Q: Why don’t you provide free leads?
  • A: We offer our agents the highest commission levels allowed by our carriers’ production guidelines. This means our agents are responsible for generating or purchasing their own leads. We do, however, offer several no-cost marketing systems, co-op lead programs, and discounts through our lead vendor partners to help you maximize your marketing budget.  Agents can purchase very inexpensive leads at www.IntegrityLeadCenter.com.  MORE INFO HERE

  • Q: Where are you located?
  • A: Our main office is located in Missouri Valley, Iowa which is 20 minutes north of Omaha, Nebraska. We are licensed in over 45 states, and we support over 18,000 agents who are located all over the country.  The majority of our employees work out of our Missouri Valley, Iowa office, but we also have employees in Omaha, Phoenix and Houston.
